I-195 Contract 14
This $13 million project consisted of the reconstruction of existing roads and construction of new roads that were separated by the alignment of I-195. Work is primarily in the downtown Providence area, west of the Point Street Bridge. Additional work within this project includes the relocation and upgrade of outdated electrical, gas, fiber optic/communications, storm water, and sewer services. Turino has worked on this project from inception, providing the schedule and integrating this project with other active projects in the city of Providence, including RIDOT and other agency projects. The project is being constructed by Cardi Corporation. Work began in February 2013 and is anticipated to be completed in August 2015.
